Hi Scott, I was just reviewing some of your old stuff and found a reference last Nov 13th about when you check L2. You mentioned it was right before you make the trade. I was wondering what you are determining from L2 at that point that would disuade you from executing a trade even though you felt price and volume was where you wanted it.
Thanks Scott. I phrased the question poorly... it reads like I was asking about your L2 viewing on a trade last November but in fact I was just asking about your L2 viewing just before any trade. It appeared from your Nov 13th post that it was something you do. However, your reply here answered my question, "...virtually never..." says it all. Appreciate it.
I will endeavor to post charts showing my daily trading activities in as real time as possible. However when there are fast market conditions there will be several minutes delay while I sort out my positions, then get around to posting the changes here. I trade off 5 minute charts in conjunction with 15 min. charts and pay close attention to 5 min. charts of the S&P 500 and QQQQ.

I don't remember why. I virtually never check L2 as there is lots of BS displayed. Sorry can't help you out there.
