Hi Scott, As you enter your positions, do you have predetermined time as to when you will exit? Say between 1 minute to 5 minutes after entry. Or everything depends on the span of the momo strength just watching the move and act accordingly. Thank you.
Momentum rules for me. Last fall when things were falling off the cliff, some trends were several hours long. It all depends on what the markets are doing. If I exit "too fast" it's only because I'd rather lock in continual profits rather than watching them get taken back from me as things sink back. I can always get back in later or better yet short them and make $ both ways.
I will endeavor to post charts showing my daily trading activities in as real time as possible. However when there are fast market conditions there will be several minutes delay while I sort out my positions, then get around to posting the changes here. I trade off 5 minute charts in conjunction with 15 min. charts and pay close attention to 5 min. charts of the S&P 500 and QQQQ.
